Pioneer Heritage Shoppe is a small family owed business devoted to
offering quality custom handmade to order and one of a kind gifts.
As such we can only offer a limited return policy, so please read our policies so you know what you are agreeing to when you place your online, mail or telephone order. All orders placed by any method are agreeing to our terms.

When placing your order by any method you are agreeing to all our policies on this page, our payment terms and shipping terms so please make sure you read everything. All shipping fees are paid by the buyer. Thank you

 UPDATE: We are in the process of doing a major update on our website, so please bear with us during this renovation. The upgraded website will be mobile friendly on all devices. When we launch the new site it will look significantly different, and you will have the opportunity to save significantly on all products in the store. We will be launching many new products, so bookmark our site and keep checking back! In the meantime, you will see some changes here like our logo and the shopping cart.  The cart is now mobile friendly!

Here at Pioneer Heritage Shoppe we value our customers, we stand behind our products and want you to be satisfied with them. Our philosophy is to offer a high quality product, personalized service and treat our customers in a fair and reasonable manner; we hope you will be fair and reasonable with us as well.


As a small business we offer limited returns, but we do try to make it as hassle free as possible.

  1. All yarn and needles are returnable within 5 days of receipt for exchange or in-store credit. Please contact us for a return authorization number and provide us with the reason for returning. Please retain your original receipt.
  2. All addi needles are backed by a lifetime warranty and we will gladly handle your warranty claim for you. Please hang on to your receipts.
  3. All flowers, knitting and other handmade items are considered custom 'made to order' and we offer no refunds or returns on any custom order. If your order arrives damaged we will gladly replace it. Please follow any instructions we send you regarding replacement of damaged merchandise.

Mistakes happen and if we make one we will fix it! If for any reason we send you the wrong product please let us know so we can make it right. Otherwise all shipping for returns and exchanges are paid by the buyer.


  • FREE SHIPPING is available on qualifying orders. Typically these exclude closeout and custom merchandise unless otherwise noted. Qualifying totals change from time to time, so please look at the top of the website for the current promotions.
  • Flat Rate shipping fee $13.98 is offered on all other purchases that fall below the qualifying amount for free shipping. Additional fees may apply for merchandise shipped that is oversize/wt., international and outside the continuous USA. See our "shipping" policies.
  • Need it faster? Select your preferred shipping speed to receive your order faster. Please keep in mind all custom products will ship once they are ready (timelines are noted on the product pages). We will notify you of any shipping delays on for express service requests.

We are currently updating our website and our policies are apart of this update.  The above information is a short and to the point policy we are implementing and we hope this makes things easier for you. Please note, that this update as of now supercedes any old policy anywhere on this website.

Returns For Exchange Only - NO EXCEPTIONS - You must contact us for an return authorization (ROA) prior to returning anything. Exchanges can only be made for another size or color of the same product. Restock fees may apply on any product returned. Please Note: Returns for exchange are done via "in-store credit” exchange, you will not see a credit for this return on your credit card statement. This will be documented on your invoice, so save it for your records.

Returns Accepted: Restock fees will apply.

Requesting a Return: Please see lists above to see what is returnable before contacting us. There is a 10% restock fee on all yarn and needle supplies returned for exchange, a 20% restock fee if only being returned for refund. All other merchandise has a 30% restock fee for all returned or exchanged merchandise. We do not refund shipping fees, nor do we pay return shipping fees. All shipping fees are the responsibility of the buyer. Refusing to take delivery is NOT an accepted means of returning merchandise. If your order qualified for free shipping you will be responsible for the cost we incurred to ship the product to you and to ship it back out to you.  All merchandise must be returned in the original condition and packaging or there will be no refund/exchange. When ordering you are agreeing to all our policies including shipping and delivery policies.

All return requests must be made in writing via email, we will not accept returns unless it is in writing (this is for your protection as well as ours). Your return request must be made and received by our office within 3 business days of receipt of your order. Any return request made after that will not be accepted. Returns must be postmarked within 4 days of receiving approval and arrive back in our Shoppe within 20 days of original ship date. Returns received after that will not be accepted.

We strongly recommend you insure your return for the full price of your invoice as you will be responsible for all return shipping damages (see damaged merchandise below). You are responsible for returning the product in the same packaging and in the same (re-sellable) condition it left our Shoppe (all products are inspected and photographed with your order form prior to shipment and will be inspected again upon return). If there is any damage to a returned item there will be a minimum of 10% deducted from your refund. If the damage is significant making the product un-sellable (including smelling of cigarette smoke or other chemical damages) then there will be no refund. All returns and cancellations will be subject to a 30% restocking fee (contact us for authorization - returns must still be made as stated above).

Damaged Merchandise: If you receive damaged merchandise, please notify us within 3 days of receipt for return and refund or replacement instructions. You must return the product in order to receive replacement. Sorry there are no exceptions. During Holiday delivery times or to meet deadlines for your special gift delivery we suggest purchasing the gift again, so you will get a replacement shipped out right away. We can only give credit if a claim has been successfully processed and paid out. Please follow return instructions. ** If we receive a return that has been damaged in shipping and you have insured your package then we will contact you and let you know you can initiate a claim for damage. This is the only way you will receive a refund. We don't issue refunds on returns that arrive back in our Shoppe damaged. See Shipping Terms for more on this topic.

Canceling an Order: If we have already processed your order and you change your mind and wish to cancel an order there is a 30% cancellation fee that will be taken from your refund. If you cancel an order before we process it then you will NOT be charged a cancellation fee. Once an order is shipped or prepared for shipping it is non-cancelable. No cancellations are accepted on custom orders or special orders.

Payments and Verification: All orders undergo an extensive fraud review and will be processed accordingly. We will contact you for further verification if needed. IMPORTANT NOTICE-ORDER CONFIRMATION: If you have a spam blocker please add our email addresses ( and to your acceptance list or you may not receive your emails regarding your order. This could cause delays in processing your order. Please look for your email confirmation and if you don't receive it check your spam folder before contacting us.  Please note: the email confirmation is automated and sent from our service provider so it will have a different email address. This is the only confirmation email you will receive from us. However, we may email you regarding your order if there is a problem or question we need resolved prior to shipping your order.

Privacy: Your privacy is very important to us. Your credit card purchases are secure and your information is always kept private!

Here at Pioneer Heritage Shoppe we value your privacy and we do not give, sell, or otherwise transfer email addresses or other personal information to anyone outside of The only exception to this policy is if you use our website to commit fraud. For Security all your credit card information is processed directly through our credit card terminal here in our store.  Online order information is encrypted and sent via SSL secure transmission, the latest and most secure technology available. You will be asked to provide your CVV2 code (security code) off the back of your credit card, click HERE to see why this is necessary. We comply with all credit card company policies to protect your privacy and your card from fraud. No Credit Card information is maintained 60 days after the sale. We only keep it that long to assist in returns/exchange or refunds of any kind. Please feel free to contact us with any questions. Here at you can shop with ease knowing that all personal and account information you provide will only be used solely for collecting or crediting payment and shipping your order. 

PERSONAL INFORMATION NOTE: The ONLINE order form has a place to enter your social security number or tax id number when ordering. This information is only for businesses placing wholesale orders with our company. Retail customers are not required to enter this information in fact WE DO NOT WANT you to give us that information! This is not something we can change, it is an integral part of the shopping cart.

Disputes: Any and all disputes will be settled in the State of North Dakota and in accordance with North Dakota laws!

Miscellaneous Information:

Special Offers: From time to time we run specials (i.e., free shipping, free gift with purchase, or a percent off the total order etc. ) Offers may not be combined with any other offers, coupons or discounts. Offers not redeemable for cash, gift certificates, E-gift cards or sale merchandise, nor are they valid toward previous purchases. The purchase of gift cards, E-gift cards, gift certificates, gift wrap services, taxes and shipping and handling charges are not included in offers. Exclusions and/or purchase limitations may apply. We reserve the right to cancel any order or discount due to unauthorized, altered or ineligible use of discounts and to modify or cancel these promotions due to system error, customer error or unforeseen problems. Misprints: Although this is a rarity it has happened on occasion that there has been a misprint. Therefore, if you place an order with a website misprint we will notify you right away. You will have 24 hours to contact us, so you may pay any additional fees. If we don't hear from you in that timeline and the price difference is within $50.00 will simply charge you the correct price. If it is more than $50.00 we will simply cancel the order, so you will not incur any service fees. You may then re-submit the order at your convenience. If the misprint is in your favor we will make adjustments to your invoice for the correct amount and we will process the order without contacting you. Contact us with questions.

Product Prices: All prices on our website are subject to change without notice. Prices will be those currently in effect on our website at the time of ordering (excluding misprints). Please read our FAQ's and feel free to contact us with any questions you may have or questions not answered here.

Product Specs: Prior to shipment of any of our floral wreaths, swags, bouquets, knitting etc., these products are measured and photographed along with your order form for our records and will remain on file indefinitely. Images: Please keep in mind that due to individual monitors, lighting and seasonal changes some colors may vary slightly from those pictured Click HERE for more details. We make no guarantees that florals will be the same each year as these are all products of nature and are subject to change. If you are unfamiliar with the florals we ask that you purchase samples first.  Not every flower Shoppe gets these flowers from the same source and there can be significant variations depending upon where they are produced.

Gift Packaging: Upon request your gift will include a special gift card at no charge. Remember to email us with that information, or enter it in the space provided on the shopping cart order form, so that it is included with your order. We look forward to working with you! Unverifiable Orders: Sometimes we get unverifiable orders, either by customer error or intentionally from people who think they can fool us into shipping our products to an un-discovered land. First, we aren't fooled the latter are automatically discarded. Those we suspect are legitimate orders and have phone numbers or email addresses that are valid we do try to contact you for verification. If we can't reach you then we discard the order. If you have placed an order and don't receive a shipping confirmation or a product delivered in a reasonable time frame, please contact us. Thank you.
